Rachel Hunter, Legal Assistant

I grew up in Pacific Grove in the house that my father built, attending Robert Down Elementary School, Pacific Grove Middle School, and Pacific Grove High School.  While living in the East Bay I graduated from California State University, Hayward with a bachelor’s degree in History.  Just before graduating my husband, Andy Hunter, and I moved to Dublin, California, where we lived for 7 years.  I worked in Livermore as a Veterinary Assistant and my husband worked in San Ramon as a Civil Engineer.  In 2005 our son, Gavin, was born and I became a stay at home mom.  2 years later my I had my daughter, Serena.

We decided to move back to Pacific Grove to be closer to our families.  My mother is a kindergarten teacher at Robert Down and my father owns Whent Construction Company.  My mother-in-law is a kindergarten teacher at Forest Grove and my father-in-law owns Hunter Painting.  My husband was able to get a job at Whitson Engineers in Monterey.  We now live within walking distance to Forest Grove where my son will be going school.  Kyle has been a long time friend of my husband and I was pleased to be given the opportunity to work for his firm.
